A beautiful and unusual bangle bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) period! Crafted in?15k gold (indicating English origin), this fabulous piece has a very eye-catching design. Three raised domes decorate the front, each with a starburst motif?set with a coral cabochon in each star's center and?turquoise blue enameled surface. The central coral cabochon is accented at each star's point with a petite rose cut diamond. Completing the elaborate design are applied Etruscan beadwork and twisted rope wirework accents that add further dimension and texture. The hinged bracelet fastens with?a push clasp at the side, and a safety chain provides additional security. When worn, it makes a spectacular statement piece that is as rich in history as it is in appearance!
Measurements:?The interior circumference of the bracelet measures approximately 6 1/4". The bangle measures 1" at widest and displays a height of 1/2" at the central point.
Condition: The bracelet is in excellent antique condition. We have restored a segment of the Etruscan wirework that was missing when it fell into our hands. The coral cabochons have been restored using mineral oil. The diamonds and enamel are all intact and free of wear or chips. The safety is intact and secure, and the closure is also in fine working condition.
